A Desperate Plan
My purpose in writing this episode was to tie-in some earlier content that hadn’t been mentioned for a while and bind the story
together a little more firmly. I wanted to revisit story elements like the political turmoil in Carvalen and the emotional tragedy of Keltin and Angela. While I was a little worried it had been too long between episodes that mentioned these aspects of the story, I felt like the mood and setting in “A Desperate Plan” were right for reintroducing them. Of course, it probably wouldn’t have been as much of a concern if this story wasn’t being told in an episodic format, and it shouldn’t be a problem for new readers that are
introduced to all the episodes at the same time.
